Were back on the air playing the best music with the best jingles, and.... some memorable commercials. Listen all weekend. And tell your friends!
thanks for tuning in to the WLS tribute station! please tell your friends
I am an old radio dude who listened to WLS at night from my home in Virginia. I grew up hearing John Landecker, Larry Lujack (I could listen until 9am during the winter), Brant Miller, Steve & Gary, Don Nelson traffic reports, Les Grobstein on sports, Animal Stories, Boogie Checks, cash contests and the biggest Rock and Pop hits. It was truly a magical time. And all done on a crappy transistor radio through the crackle of thunderstors and "AM fade".
